That is a great sweater. I'm using Zara now, which seems to be a thinner version of the Berocco merino (although I'm not sure it is machine washable--something that would give me the willies for a handmade sweater, anyway). I saw that yarn at Stitches, and I know I'll be using it very soon. It is just gorgeous.

Hi Amy - I've been inundated with shipments so I've been out of the blog loop. Congrats on the tangled yoke - it looks GREAT! And thanks for the Berroco Pure Merino review - I have been thinking of getting some for the shop, so now I will...

Finally, a picture of your boy! So adorable in his feety pjs. And what a lovely sweater for you someday-sister-in-law. Crew neck is definitely the way to go.

I love the texture on that sweater... I wish I had such a nice, crafty possibly-future-SIL like you! (My girlfriend is an only child, alas.)

I love the HoJo sweater. That's a wonderful gift for your almost SIL.

I agree a crew neck may be the way to go. People are pretty set on their neck treatments. Me, I can't stand turtlenecks, always feel like I'm choking when I wear them.
